CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trying to do the right thing.
A month or so ago, I asked for prayers for Baylee and her family. She is the ten year old girl that was dealing with kidney failure among other things. Yesterday, after being in ICU at Cooks Childrens Hospital for about two months, they moved her to a private room because things were looking better. Last night, her blood pressure skyrocketed and for whatever reason, I'm not a doctor, they had to go in and remove both kidneys. There is no donor in the picture. Please keep Baylee in mind, folks. The future, the outlook is very bleak. But prayers have to help in some way.

She was put on Hospice 2 weeks ago, and we just got the call they are starting her on a morphine pump; she is no longer taking anything to eat or drink and sleeps most of the time.
May the Lord have mercy on her, and grant her a peaceful passing into Eternal Life

When my mother stopped eating and became unresponsive
we got our doctor to have taken into hospital
She lasted a further four days, no food /water /drugs
~she slept all the way, home
Our Lord is merciful and so full of love

I have no doubt of His Mercy on her ~ having seen both my parents, my step Dad and Jim's Dad pass; along with attending other relatives, and my hospice patients.
Our prayers will assist her on her 'journey home' to the Father

The family has been keeping vigil at my MIL's bedside; she is now in a coma, and has one foot on earth, and the other in Heaven.
We expect she will pass on at any time, and are very grateful she is at peace!
Today with the help of Hospice , the family is having a 'send off party' for our niece who is headed to George Washington University in DC next Saturday.
It is a bittersweet time for her....lots of excitement, but sadness at leaving her family especially when her beloved Memere is dying.
Your continued prayers for Lucille and the family are greatly appreciated!
