CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for my oldest daughter Meghan. She is in the hospital and will be going through a couple procedures. First an ERCP which will remove a gallstone from the common duct tomorrow and then Saturday she will be having her gallbladder removed. Thanks friends. I probably won't be around much the next few days.

Hello everyone,
I'm new. Prayer forums are wonderful and very powerful. It's amazing what can happen. I continue to pray for all those I always do, and now I'll include those I read about here, in my prayers. I found this great little website, where I've sent this great poem which is actually a prayer, a postcard to God, to my family and friends. It's actually sent on a postcard from online. If you'd like to know what the site is PM me.
If you have any extra prayers in your heart, I sure could use as many as possible to turn my finances around. Things are not good now, I'm not covering basic expenses. I do not look for your money, only your prayers.
