CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey guys! It's been a few weeks since I've checked in. Life has been really full. But I need prayer and I know I can count on all of you.............
1. I went on a rescue yesterday for the shelter. Please, please pray for this little dog. She is not doing good at all. Nothing but skin and bones. You can see all of her hip bones, ribs and vertabre. Her ears and tail tips are black and falling off from frost bite. Please pray for her to pull through!
2. I go for my biopsy results tomorrow. Please keep me in your prayers for favor!

Please pray for wisdom, direction, and comfort for a 1 year relationship that I ended in anger last Sat. I had valid reasons for ending it, but not that way. He said he wanted to talk, but hasn't called yet. Also pray that I don't go back to this relationship just to stop the hurting.

Praying, ebl. I am not in a much better place, knowing this man I am with cares, but not feeling he wants much more than a dating relationship, not because he does not want me, but because he cannot take on much more mentally and physically.
I understand that, and yet, it is not what I bargained for. Do I let him go find someone more suited to his needs and look for someone more suited to mine? Or do I quit being selfish and enjoy what time we have?
I want to do the right thing; the thing God would have me to do.
It is very frustrating.
I know you and I desire the same kind of thing; a husband; a full-time involved partner, accepting us and our children, and to become a family putting God first and foremost.
I understand that, and yet, it is not what I bargained for. Do I let him go find someone more suited to his needs and look for someone more suited to mine? Or do I quit being selfish and enjoy what time we have?

I heard two cracks yesterday as I was trying to pack.
First I thought it might fix the slight back pain from last week.
Oowwie oowwie oowwie
Nope - it just made things worse.
It is frustrating because I gots to pack.
And I much prefer to do it myself without assistance.
I am just going to take it nice and slow.
And probably should not have tried to move big bin with all my cat figurines.

I went to the doc this afternoon to see if I have acid reflux.
One of the test that is done is called endoscopy, which is inserting a tube with a light down my esophagus to check things out.
I will know tomorrow when the procedure will be done.
Please pray that this procedure will find out if I have acid reflux and if I do, that medication will take care of it.

Cathy, I hope surgery won't be in the picture!
There is some pretty basic meds, then some heavier stuff, and for tough cases think even surgery.
I hate surgeries. lol

They just put my mom in an assisted living home. She came out of the hospital for falling down and hurting herself (again!!) and she could not go back to her home, where my (unsaved and bitter) oldest brother was supposed to be caring for her, but was apparently not. He had been lying to me all this time, she had been too afraid or ashamed to tell me the truth, and now it has come to this.
He will not give me the phone number, he is going to be kicked out of the home and the home could be taken by the state, if my other brother and his wife don't move quickly on it. I agreed they could buy it and sell her assets to care for her; I am trusting in God (they are unsaved, too, but much better hearted than the older brother) that this will all work out for her benefit, as she is a believer and has prayed all these years for them and for me as well.
I want to go home and see her as it has been 7 years. My mom is my best friend and I miss her terribly.
