I have an urgent prayer request from a friend of mine.

My good friend, Shelly H, sent me this message and the newslinks at the bottom yesterday. Please pray for her friends since high school, Beth and Daron D. Their 8 year old son accidently shot their five year old to death on Friday. It looks like the parents may be charged because of the gun being in the house, and I beleive their 8 year old son was taken from them and placed with relatives. They are good Christian people who love the Lord and this is truly a tradgedy. I'm sure they would appreciate your prayers.

Please pray for Beth and Daron D. They went to high school with me. This morning their 8 year old son accidentally shot his 5 year old brother in the head. The boy did not survive. Daron is the minister of music at First Free Will Baptist in Gastonia, NC. The news stories are below.

Sorry to keep coming back at all of you like a bad penny, but things are not going as well as I had hoped for us here.

I'm doing well in my job, however, my depression and anxiety disorder are kicking up really bad again lately and as a result I've missed four or five days work since I started work in October.

Today the manager of the helpdesk said he wants to have a meeting with me and the company that outsourced me on Monday. They say they want to try to assist me by perhaps adjusting my shift or reducing my hours, so that I can continue to contribute. I'm thankful for their helpfulness, but the more serious outcome of this could be that if I don't stop missing time from work due to illness I may lose my contract with IBM.

My dear wife has suggested I try eating more nutrionally minded which we both agree is a good idea and I've made an appointment with my doctor.

I always worry too much but I fear that any more lost time is going to result in me pounding the pavement again and neither my wife nor I want to go there again.
I haven't been this sick for awhile and I'm asking for prayer and intervention from our heavenly Father. I need this contract.

Either that or pray that I win the lottery tonight.

Father God, comfort my brother. Give him your love and help him feel it fresh and brand new. Provide him the strength to make it through each day. Take away that cloud of depression that is floating over his head. Help him to know that he is loved. In Jesus precious name...Amen.

Friends, please pray. My boss at ACE is suggesting to his boss that I start training as manager for when I retire from my full-time job in August. He'll be talking to him on Wednesday. Please pray that if this is my next career that God will open the door if it's His will.

My mom and dad in law have been gone most the day, and my dad in law just called to tell me they went to eat and then to Wal Mart, then to the ER where they've been since 3.
They are taking her by ambulance now to Macon (bigger city, much better hospital) to check her heart.
She's been having these pains since Friday night on and off, and on Saturday was very pale.
Please Pray all will be ok!
