My husband Erik and I Have been trying to have kids since July 2007. It has been almost 8 years now. We have seen all the doctors and they can not find a reason why we can't have kids. This is very frustrating. We have seen specialists, tried everything but IVF. We both feel in our hearts that we are supposed to be parents. We know the Bible says the Lord wants to give us the desires of our hearts. Hard to keep the faith going when you watch family and friends start their own families, and your still on the side lines hoping, and praying your day might come. We ask our friends and families to pray all the time. We know prayer is a powerful tool. It can be a struggle to get through the days. We always ask ourselves when it might be our turn. We know the Lord's timing is perfect...and if He wants us to have a child we will. Just wish we knew when that was (human part of us I guess). Just asking for fellow Christians to be praying for my husband and I over this. That the Lord would carry us through the difficult times, and we can stay strong regardless of what happens. Thank you for carrying and taking the time to pray for us!!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I suspect there might be some forums out there with people who are in, or have been, in your same situation. They might have some practical ideas in terms of medical and/or alternative health helps. If nothing else they could possibly provide some support and understanding.
