Hey guys, my blood pressure seems to be skyrocketing out of control. I've called the ambulance. Medications don't seem to be doing anything. Please keep me in your prayers.

Update - I'm alive. Going in for tests and a comp cardigram today.

The scary thing was that the meds I had been told to buy didn't seem to be having mch effect. Earlier they did, but in the evening I was well over 200 in spite of them.

Ambulance and doctor home visits are routine here. The doctor gave me a second injection of something else when the first had only limited effect and sent me to bed.

Thanks so much for your prayers! It's not over yet - I need to stay alive long enough for diet and exercise to take effect.

I covet your prayers. As the sole bread-winner for a wife and four kids, I need to hold myself together for them.

Thanks be to God! 200 is insane, though, Rus. Very scary. That is life-threatening stuff.

Right off the bat I'd cut out red meat like a sunuva gun, resist sodium like crazy, take a low-dosage aspirin to thin blood out each morning, watch your dairy, try to walk around 2-3 miles per day, drink tons of water, and try to de-stress. We'll all try to agree with you about Chesterton and Lewis and rubber stamp ya until such time as you're healthy enough to be fiesty and rotten again!

Seriously though, I'm thrilled to hear you are still with us! I really got worried this morning. Been thinking about it all day wondering! I just thank the Lady Theotokos for her prayers! Thanks be to God!

Get on some blood pressure meds and jump on those lifestyle changes. I don't know much about Russian diet over there, but I'd try to really streamline it all to be b.p.-friendly!
