CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father, thank you for this woman, whom you love very dearly. She is dear to the heart of tturt, and sits on the highest place of her prayer list. We ask you to lessen her sufferings in this time. Be merciful to her, put her at peace and minister the fervent love of Jesus to her heart, soul, and body. We pray that your angels would surround her and give her consolation. She is highly favored of you and we stand in agreement, that your unmerited favor would be upon her in this situation.
Minister love and comfort to all of her family, and gift all doctors and staff with insightful knowledge in dealing with her infirmity. Lord we want to honor you and not become fearful and full of anxiety. We submit her to you and ask that you translate your favor and your perfect will together as a shield. We bind the spirit of fear from her and her family in the name of Jesus, and we loose the healing comfort of God in every area of her and her family. We thank you that our prayers are effective as sons and daughters of the King.
Please forgive her of any sin in her life and remind her of the salvation message no matter what state she is in, and may her days on this earth be a reminder of your saving love, both for her and all that she knows. May she forgive any she may have ought against, and come to know the power of mercy and thanksgiving. Thank you Lord for being an awesome God who works marvelous works. We know you are our refuge in times of trouble and we thank you for the strength in unity and we bless tturts Mother, and her family as we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

She was able to swallow today - tiny amounts but 4 times! WE are giving praise to Yahweh for each small that's now BIG thing - when the hand grips are even marginally firmer and when there is a gleam in her eyes.
I told her Christians are praying for you including some that don't know you. She did try to smile with that report, too.

Praise God for small improvements that are huge! Is your Mom a Christian?
If not, remember that God places your family on a highly favored status and will present the gospel to them by every means (conscious or unconscious). Keep holding fast to the scripture that says you and your household (those you hold dear) will be saved. They will still need to choose, but God can make it easy for them and can work all things together for their salvation. No matter how bad it looks for anyone, keep rejoicing that He can do what only He can do for them and for you, because you've chosen to follow Him. It's a powerful force.
I've been impressed lately to keep reminding God of that scripture with thanksgiving and rejoice that He wants to carry the burden you might have regarding your love one's salvation. Without this promise, we'd keep the burden because of how important they are to us. God gave them to us, in our lives, so to speak, for the very reason of praying for their well being and salvation, but not as a burden to overcome you.
Keep speaking victory over their lives and always with thanksgiving and rejoicing. As you really do this with increased meaning and thanksgiving, watch how subsequent declarations increase with faith! He turns up the power. Tell the enemy to take his hands off of your family!

OH, yes, she's a believer in Yahweh, Yeshua, and The Holy Spirit for decades. Up until this time, she drove to church for 99.9% of their services, reads devotional, etc.
We are so t-h-a-n-k-f-u-l to Yahweh for every bit of progress.

Praise the Lord! One thing about the "you and your household being saved" scripture is that salvation is much more than eternal life. It is all that the good news is in the New Covenant. The gospel or good news is the power of God unto salvation, which includes, healing, soundness, deliverance, prosperity, etc. He still strives to present the fullness of the good news, that we might believe it to our family members.
Sometimes the good news of healing is a stretch for some Christians, but there is nothing like a real need for healing, combined with the united prayers of those believing Christians to reach out and obtain that promise in the lives of those we hold dear. Thank God for His work in your mother. We can all identify with how serious this is.
