A young man named Steve Cahall was bending over the engine in his g/f's car, trying to work on it, when something exploded. He was severely burned and is currently in the hospital. Please remember him in your prayers today - thanks everyone.

An update from Steve's journal. What an amazing attitude he has in spite of what happened! Thanks for the prayers, please keep them coming.


As you all know, I am Steve. On Sunday June 3, 2012 I was helping a friend work on thier truck. When it wouldn't start I poured gas into the caborator. It backfired in my face and I was caught on fire from the chest up. I was taken to the hospital and then flown to Crozer burn unit in PA.

Day 11 Written on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 7:25pm Today was a good day. I am feeling more and more normal as the days go by. I had surgery yesterday. I was NOT a good day. They took skin from BOTH of my inner thighs to do the skin graph on both my ears, both my eyes, and my neck and face!!! I was VERY cranky all day because of this. I did not want visitors, I just wanted to be left alone. But now, I feel much better. I am doing physical therapy everyday and since the surgery I no longer have bandages. I am not the prettiest thing to look at right now, but it is much better than when I first came in. Well that is all for today. I get tired pretty easily
