hello all , simply wanted to first thank you all for all the encouraging posts . it feels good not to be alone in this, although i wouldn't wish it on anyone . asking that you all pray for me, not just me, but the many others who are affected and suffering as well . that the Lord supply us with faith and strength to endure, establishing patience and confidence in our salvation , that we would come out victorious in Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior .

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Rememeber when Jesus told peter right before He was arrested, He said Peter Satan has asked to sift you like wheat, but I've prayed for you Peter that your faith will not fail. See here God demonstrates that He is in full control. He used the enemy to strengthen Peter. God uses the enemy still to this day. I wouldn't be on this forum or going to church if Satan hadn't shown himself to me. What a Retard lol meaning satan!
Like wise we are going thru the same sifting process. I rememeber when I first got ill that I thought it was never going to end. But here I am two yr's later and better then before. God's in complete control so don't fret or worry. Those good days you rememeber will come back soon......praying 4 you

@ kay kay -- i love the heat lol . im from so cal so im used to it . but since i been in nor cal , its been a little chilly . @ cc -- thanks ! praying for you as well =) went to church tonight . msg was about how the problems we're facing now are old to God and that we have what we need to overcome . He won't send us in a battle unprepared . i used to think getting rid of the thoughts was truly overcoming, but know i see that having them and pressing forward is truly being victorious, overcoming them not letting nothing get in the way of our love for God . He's the best . if He can have mercy on those who truly meant all the bad things they said to Him during His persecution, how much more merciful shall He be with us who have intrusive thoughts against Him and don't mean them. =) Love yall stay strong
