• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Congrats, Snooch! And welcome to the West Coast! San Diego is so beautiful. I know it will be a big change, but I think you'll love it once you're settled. Praying for a smooth and uneventful move for you guys. :D

Thanks Orchard

Anxiety... wow, heh. Seems every hour or two I find something new to freak out about. I really appreciate all the prayers, I need them.

I hate to ask again guys but could you send up a prayer for my job situation again? I finished the training quicker than I expected to, passed the law firm's test with flying colors, but they decided against me because....no admin experience. My agency is fuming because they know I can do the work, seeing that I picked everything up so quickly. They said they'll be pushing for them to reconsider, but if not, onto the next test / interview. I hope all of them won't block me due to the experience factor.....and this is for a temp job not even a guaranteed permanent placement. *sigh*

Ah, the experience catch-22! :sigh: How can you get experience if no one wants to hire an inexperienced person?

I'm praying for you! :crossrc:

Yeah that doesn't make sense -- if nothing else, you'd think they would want to hire you so they could train you exactly like they want you to be. Like fresh clay or something, you know? I'll be praying for you too.
