Well this Thursday is the big day when i will be having my meeting with my Orthodox Priest. Please pray things go according to God's plan...

If it doesn't work out that I end up staying Orthodox, how do I go about getting my faith Icon changed over to Anglican?

joe, i am afraid you will need to get approval from your local ecusa bishop before you can change your faith icon

the ecusa welcomes you as promised in their advertisements,,,

When I changed my faith icon from Deist to Methodist, I had to fax the admins a notarized note from my pastor.

Have you been able to get to Compline this week? When was the last time you went to DL? Perhaps you just need some churchin'. (That's what the little old African American grandma next door says to everyone)

no due to work I haven't been able to make it to Compline this week.

Went to DL last sunday. Was going to go to the ECUSA Church, but got up in time to drive up to Church for liturgy and forgiveness vespers.

hmm, so that's why it's almost impossible to change your icon on here. i didn't know it was so formal on here.

he will probably need to have a letter from his ortho bishop as well stating something to the effect that , they are fine with joe being anglican and trumpeting the fact in public, and that he doesnt owe them any money

then he will have to have a letter signed and notarized by both (2 letters is ok,,one looks better) and presented in person by one of the bishops to a local cf moderator (dosent have to be from anglican or ortho forum, any forum moderator will do,,)

after a deliberation process and a formal inquiry into joe's state of mind he can change his faith icon, the whole process is fairly quick, about on a par with getting an annulment in the catholic church,, about 18 months

you are allowed only one change every 60 months

don't forget about the envelope with the little finger from his right hand...or his left, if he's already changed his icon once.

I wouldn't suggest trying to bring in a "ringer finger" (no pun intended) they (the mods of CF) have all our fingerprints on file!
