Prayer request

Hiya

This may sound like a weird and trivial prayer request but it means a lot to me. I auditioned for our school production (Little Shop of Horrors) and got in. However I don't know what part I am yet. Singing auditions are next week and although I can sing ok-ish, I've never sung in front of people properly. I really want to do well 'cos all the leads have solos and I'd love to have a big part.

I know this sounds kinda dumb but if you have a spare sec could you pray for me that I don't get too nervous and that it all goes OK? I'd really appreciate it!

I know how you feel. Well, to be honest I only sort of do. Tonight I am singing in front of about 400 probably, songs I have never sung before, and I should be nervous but I am not. Nevertheless I will pray for you. In fact I do stand in agreement with the prayer of Lambslove!

Not a trivial request at all!  Sweetie, you will be so incredibly wonderful!  God will provide the right part for you and I KNOW that you will be absolutely fabulous with whatever part you are given!  Hugs and Blessings to you!

Wow, everyone, thanks for all the responses even though this is a small request!
Just an update - my audition is next wednesday and I'm feeling more confident about it now because I practised with a friend today and it seemed to go OK. I just need to work on singing louder!

Uh, for those who were wondering how it went, it went quite well. I'm quite confident about it.

I doubt I will get a large part because I don't really sing often, but it was getting over that hurdle of being afraid to sing in front of people that was the challenge. I made it

We find out our parts next week. I'm not too bothered, I'm just glad I got over that first hurdle of singing in front of people!
