CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

there was a cancellation at neuros office so get to go this Thurs am instead of Oct 4...
please keep praying about my diagnosis and that the neuro has Gods wisdom on it..

I am in a difficoult situation myself... with my health.
I think prayer is important.
So its very useful that our brothers and sisters
pray for us.
Two years ago I was in a coma and what saved my life was
the Grace of God...and the prayers of many people.
Even now I have some tests to do and my daily condition sometimes is a little bit heavy to bear...
I would like to remember to myself, to Theresa and to everyone who is going trhough a difficoult situation the verse in Romans 8:28
NOW WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE GOD!
God bless you with peace in your heart my dear sister Theresa.

I also like...Be still and know that He is God..its a measure of continued growing in trust in Him no matter what.

Saw the neuro today...
after all was said and done from tests so far he suspects I had a mini stroke two months ago...
So now I have to take an MRI to check blood vessels in my brain as a ct scan does not do that...to confirm or rule out...depending on what MRI shows.
I have MRI Monday morning....don't see Dr till Oct 26 unless there is a cancellation.
If I have had a mini stroke then we move into doing preventative measure so it won't happen again hopefully and I will take physical therapy to rebuild up my eye muscles from the effects of the mini stroke. And I start taking aspirin everyday for now.
Please pray about my doing an MRI....inclosed places...yikes!

Thank-you for posting a copy TJ. It will be OK, I know how scared you must be but the MRI will show if it was a mini stroke and then like you said preventative measures can be taken. God is with you on this walk and all your friends here on CF will be praying for you. An MRI is a walk in the park especially when Jesus is there with you. Praise God that your doctors recognized what this eye problem could be caused by a stroke. I will pray that the MRI goes well and that you have a calm mind that day. Here is a hug it will be ok.

I was actually thanking God that I was/am having eye issues...b/c without them I would not of sought out help...I would of just thought my other issues was part of aging process.
And without the proper diagnosis I would of then been at serious risk for a major stroke or heart attack...
Now...b/c of my eye issues it is caught way early and through preventative measures I will most likely not have major issues..it will greatly increase my chances anyway..then had I not sought out and saw a Dr...
