Prayer Request..

I have been fortunate in that I have been healthy all my life..but now...
For sometime I have been having eye issues.And there is always the questions...is this part of my normal aging process??
I went to my Dr....she sent me to an optho and the optho said my eyes are healthy..
but I have several other physical issues as well as eye issues..
so now I am being sent to a neurologist and I have never seen one...
in a few days I will have a CT scan and I have never had one..
All of a sudden I am going into the world of hospital stuff and tests and etc...
its very unsettling...
Please pray for peace and calm for me and wisdom for the Drs about my diagnosis and treatment and that whatever it is will be treatable.

You know I really thank and praise God that I have been healthy my whole life..and I really try and take good care of myself.
I have read up on ct scans and feel I can handle it ok....I know its easier to cope once you have a clear idea of things...lol Ct scans are amazing and will provide info on tons of things in one visit.
And I have a wonderful supportive hubby who will go with me and be there with me through the whole thing.
I'll let you know when the date of me CT scan is....

I agree. The more I understand about the test, treatment, etc., the less fear I have. "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and a sound mind." I think it helps us have a sound mind to overcome the fear. Doctors have so little time with each patient, now, they can't take the time to explain things. I had a wonderful friend who had been a nurse since before WWII (she was a navy nurse at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941). She helped me so much to understand things, and make wise choices. Now, I get a lot of helpful information from websites.

My Ct scan is on Sept 22 in the evening...
I have a habit of about pinning Drs down and not letting them go till my questions are answered..lol
I actually love my family Dr she is great..always pulls up a seat and sits and talks to you and listens....;o)
God is God of whatever is going on with me and prayers will help keep the enemy bound up...;o)

Just wanted to encourage you....even tho' I haven't been through this, our Lord will be there with you. Look for God's "angels", those He sends to show His loving concern for you. I'm sure they will be there. Last fall when my mom was so sick, the Lord regularly supplied "angels" that were so sweet and kind to mom and to us! We all will be praying for you!!!!

I had my ct scan last night and it all went very well.
I was calm and stayed in my right mind...lol
everyone was very informative step by step to keep me abreast so I would know and understand what each step was about and what it was for.
So now I wait on the results...
They said I would be contacted by my Dr right away if there was anything serious that needed immediate attention..other wise I would be getting my input and dx when I see the neruo on Oct 4th.
Everyone was very nice and I appreciated that.
God was with me...
Keep praying about my Dx....
