  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Here is the request in the prayer forum: prayer for medical review

I did decide to stick it in Mature Singles because as I get older things are naturally getting worse.

Being Single makes it more difficult and depressing because I find myself unable to do more and more on my own.
And I hate asking others for help even my parents.

Well, to me, 40 isn't old. My son will be 43 in October. I pray for your medical review to come out well. God bless.

We are ALL getting older every day.
I have actually had the rheumatoid arthritis since I was 2.
A lot of damage and stress on the body for 38 years.

Wow, that's a long time to have an ailment. Still, God can heal. I was possibly born with mine, or a propensity toward it, yet it wasn't diagnosed until I was in my 30s.

I was saved shortly thereafter, and began to study the Bible, especially on healing and healing verses, quoting them all day long. It took 3 years, but I finally was freed from the medication that doctors said I'd be on the rest of my life.

I probably need to study again, this time for healing from injuries.

God bless.

Love,

Ann

The medical board review was in the process of filling for disability.
I received a certified packet today from my states' Retirement System.

My claim was approved.
It was not on the rheumatoid arthritis condition.
It was on the venous statis ulcers and lymphedema condition.
In plain English - leg swellings and open wounds caused by it.

It is because I can not sit up and do a full days work.
It is expected to be a permanent condition.
Even if I lose weight there is no guarantee it would subside.

I am happy and apprehensive at the same time.
I am happy I do not have the stress of getting to work each day.
But apprenhensive about how everything else is going to change.

I am glad it was approved without having to go to appeal.
I was not sure I was going to have the energy to do that.

Continued prayers...
Feeling a little numb because of the unknown.
