Prayer request: T1D with severe digestive issues

My young adult son is suffering from severe digestive issues, which may be covid-related, but may also have been caused by poor t1D control as a teenager. He is really suffering and not getting help. It's a long term, ongoing chronic problem since 2020.

Thank you, I appreciate that . The update is that my son received a diagnosis of "Long Covid of the Gut", in other words, IBS triggered by covid, that hasn't recovered. He had one really helpful appointment with a Gastroenterologist last year, who recommended a low residue (low fibre) diet, and prescribed domperidone which seems to help with motility, so it's much more manageable, but not gone. His Diabetes is also troubling him right now and he struggles with despair.

I have actually never heard of that kind of covid. In the gut? And it causes irritable bowel syndrome? I'm sorry about that, it must be painful.

I get on here and read about all the issues and problems people are dealing with, and I am left wondering, is my life the only one that is perfect right now? Nothing bad has gone on in my life now for years. Except my dad dying 4 years back. His death was traumatic for me. But I digress. -.-
