Prayer request for Jim

My brother in law is having surgery tomorrow to clean up a bad infection in his abdomen that just isn't healing with other treatments. It's fairly serious.

He and my sister are at the verge of having faith in God (a big step for them, one is entirely mathematical about everything and can't believe in something that can't be described by an equation and the other is very superstitious and can't believe that one can know for sure that they are saved), so if God could bring them to faith because of all this, it would be the most wonderful thing He could ever give me. I can't imagine how I could be happy in heaven without my sister.

Thanks! He's in surgery right now. They couldn't do this surgery at his local hospital, he had to go to Cleveland Clinic.

They just now took Jim into surgery, and it's more complicated than they thought it would be. Please pray harder for him. The infection has spread and is going to be a lot harder to clean up and heal.

Update!

Jim is very sick. He's not allowed to eat or drink anything because they may have to rush him back into surgery at any moment. The doctor said she is very concerned, and if you know how doctors, that isn't good. My sister said that he is feeling worse today than he did yesterday.

I'm very worried for Jim. Please pray more!
