Prayer needed, please

I am requesting prayer for my mother's boss' nephew. His name is Tommy. He is 28 years old and had a drug overdose earlier this week and is in a coma. The family is faced with the decision of taking him off life support. He is brain dead. The doctor's feel there is no chance of recovery. Most of the family want to take him off of life support except for his grandmother. She will not hear of it at this moment. It appears, for now, the final decision will not be made until after the weekend.

I am requesting prayer for this young man and his family and the decision they are facing. More than likely, this young man is not saved, but I don't know this 100%. He has had a drug problem most of this life and has OD'ed in the past. Just a really sad situation.
