No need to determine truth the way you seem to mean, and it is not difficult (A LITTLE CHILD, 3 years old, can tell) .Not simple. How do you determine truth?
Yes, simple (other perspective just realized). If most people spoke the truth, there would be no pandemic, there would be less sin, there would be no wars, pharmacy would not deceive the whole world, and so on.....Not simple. How do you determine truth?
That is bad epistemology. This leads to the confusion among Christians, because different Christians "know" different truths. No need to determine truth the way you seem to mean, and it is not difficult (A LITTLE CHILD, 3 years old, can tell) .
When you see the truth, you will know it and accept it, or reject it.
Most people believe what they say. Our societies problem is that how we are taught to determine truth is flawed so we believe false things. You have said you determine truth by a feeling that it is true. You just know it is true. That leads to mass confusion and false beliefs."Simple. When people say something, it is usually not true.

You noted confusion I think , before I commented on it.That is bad epistemology. This leads to the confusion among Christians, because different Christians "know" different truths.
You cannot reject truth, if you are convinced something is true you cannot choose to not believe it.
No. NEVER by a feeling. NEVER trust feelings. Feelings leads to mass confusion and false beliefs. Most people believe what they say. Our societies problem is that how we are taught to determine truth is flawed so we believe false things. You have said you determine truth by a feeling that it is true. You just know it is true. That leads to mass confusion and false beliefs.
When I ask right up directly a person if they lie, they usually say they lie every day. Most people believe what they say.
This is certainly not the case unless most people that claim to be Christian are not. If that is the case then how do you know who is a real Christian? You claim to know the truth by some "knowing feeling" just like every other Christian, why believe you over them. You noted confusion I think , before I commented on it.
If it leads to confusion , do something else. Do not accept what those not abiding in truth do or say.
But as you say, it is "different" ones who "know" (they think) "different truths" (i.e. falsehoods).
That is confusing until
you watch for truth, God willing He grants it.
God does not reveal "different truths" , only the truth, simply, to little children.
Now is seems perhaps you are catching on......This is certainly not the case unless most people that claim to be Christian are not. If that is the case then how do you know who is a real Christian? You claim to know the truth by some "knowing feeling" just like every other Christian, why believe you over them.
I agree. But they don't lie about everything all day. Also, lying is different from believing something. You can lie about what you believe but you cannot choose not to believe something you are convinced of.When I ask right up directly a person if they lie, they usually say they lie every day.
But more cryptic answers. If you are unwilling to answer the question directly then why answer? How do you know god exists? Now is seems perhaps you are catching on......
except again, no, not by any feeling.
I agree never to believe feelings. But that is how you are describing how you know god exists. If not, then how do you know God exists? No. NEVER by a feeling. NEVER trust feelings. Feelings leads to mass confusion and false beliefs.
Yes, most people believe lies. That is written too. The whole world believe false things. (drugs especially)
Yes, people are raised to believe lies. No question about that. Otherwise , if someone is raised in truth, in the way they should go, they do not accept the lies, when God reveals the truth to them.
God says all creation is the evidence. Everything you see and hear and feel and realize throughout everywhere.I agree never to believe feelings. But that is how you are describing how you know god exists. If not, then how do you know God exists?
The evidence is not ignored. It is insufficient to believe a god created it. Why do you look at the universe and believe a god created it?God says all creation is the evidence. Everything you see and hear and feel and realize throughout everywhere.
Most people ignore the evidence. Thus, they perish.
He Himself says it is enough. The evidence is not ignored. It is insufficient to believe a god created it. Why do you look at the universe and believe a god created it?
That is circular. God says he exists. Ok. Again bad epistemology. Muslims see life change as well, does Allah exist? He Himself says it is enough.
He Himself also says when we turn to Him, we know by the spirit within us. (NOT feelings, "TRUTH")
When the SPirit of Christ LIVES IN SOMEONE< think about this ! > When the Spirit that RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD, lives in someone,...
oh , there is a visible and total life change....
Again nonsense. I believe things for good or bad reasons based on evidence. Redefining that as a god is just word games and not serious at all. They follow their god, you follow your god, for you it exists.
Not word games.Again nonsense. I believe things for good or bad reasons based on evidence. Redefining that as a god is just word games and not serious at all.
