My praying tends to be a bit erratic, because I find that I have a lot more faith when I pray to God to help me with anything, and then just go for it. Is this wrong? After all, if we are doing His will, surely God already knows what we need.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

but He wants you to tell Him *S*....try prayer walking....it not only gives you a passion for other ppl...it brings you closer to God....try going to a public place...and just pray for every single person you pass....for example..me and my friend go to the mall..but not to shop...to prayer walk...and you would be surprised at how many opportunities that God provides for us. After all...those who come to the Lord...are more than likely claimed through prayer before hand

He knows better than we do, what we need. It is us that needs to learn what His desire is for us. Of course His desire is to give us the very best. The Bible says He has a whole treasure house in Heaven and He wants to pour out a blessing upon us that is greater then we can contain. Thanks, JohnR7
