CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Keith just got out of surgery. There was no blockage and the Docs were glad to report no sign of a heart attack!
What is causing the pain and abnormal EKG is a congenital defect in his heart in the form of a band that's around the descending aortic carotid artery that, when his heart constricts (systolic), cuts off blood flow to his heart.
He's going on beta blockers and baby aspirin to help with the problem. There is a chance that, should the beta blockers not work, he'll have to go in for heart surgery to have the band released. But if that happens, it's in the pretty far future. (according to Mom)

Just before Christmas, my sister-in-law Chrissy miscarried. She went in a few days ago for a DNC (I don't quite understand what this means) and now she is presently just crying off and on. I feel she is in desperate need of prayer. I would also as for prayer for her husband Theodore (Hope's brother) as they go this. Thank you.

One person in my family went through this. Off and on crying. And the family is helpless.

Thanks for prayers everyone. I posted in the main forum the results. Actually God answered the prayers and allowed me an alternative. I'm going on an herbal regimen to dissolve the stones.

My sister, A, hosted Christmas Eve dinner at her and her husband's house. They were at my parent's house on Christmas Day. Yesterday morning I found out they are separating and A is already talking divorce. Obviously I don't know the whole story but from what I'm gathering, it's all personality conflict. Pray they get counseling and work to save their marriage. They have only been married a year and a month. They are the ones who got married in Aruba last year.
She found an apartment and wants me to help her move into it in a couple of weeks. It's over, no going back. She said it's best she figure it out now rather than 10 years from now. I don't want to go into it, but the Enemy really has her right now.

I need to put Melissa back on the prayer list. She's still having the pain in her side so now the Doctors are saying "could be appendicitis." She's on her way to the ER right now. The kids are upset, Keith is upset (and doesn't need the added stress) Melissa's in tons of pain and all of us are upset as well.
Please God. We know You love us but...could You let us all be healthy for awhile?

Prayers for all. If anyone has a prayer to spare, my DH is ill. Poor guy- been in bed for the last 2 days with something intestinal. It is probably just a minor passing illness but he's sure miserable, and just when he got such good news from the Dr- he gets to go back to work the end of the month- his broken heel is over 2 months ahead of 'schedule'! Thanks to God for that!
