Lord, we give thanks for the many blessings of this life that we take for granted. How easy for us to overlook these, until we experience difficulties. Today we lift up Melissa and John David to your gracious care. According to your great mercy bring complete healing, strength, and restoration to both. Guide the doctors, nurses, and other staff as they extend your healing. Give each patient and family members peace, patience, and strength for the days ahead. Through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen

Last week, my coworker's daughter, Danielle, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Stage 3. She's being treated at the Mayo Clinic. Please pray for Danielle, her husband and children, and the rest of her family as they deal with this. She has a very aggressive cancer. The doctors say it's survivable, but it will be tough going.

Sorry about posting this twice but Prayers Please

I'm having surgery tomorrow. I get edgy every time I have an operation. I was awake during one of my surgeries because they didn't give me enough to put me to sleep. The paralysis drug took effect but the sodium pentathol wasn't a high enough dose so I was laying there paralyzed and wide awake. Finally during the cutting process I went into shock and they caught it on the monitors and put me under.

I get the jitters the day before. Prayers PLEASE.

You have experienced one of my worst fears (there is very little that I fear)! My prayers will be for you alone tonight, as I will not be able to think of anything else.

May our Lord be with you, and send His Holy angel to watch over you.

There is an update on Radman in the Alehaus.

I would like to ask you all to pray for my husband. He leaves for Germany on sunday, for his job. He is getting very nervous for the trip...and was not acting like himself this morning. He will be gone for 2 weeks. He is also afraid for me being alone that long, as one never knows when anxiety and depression will set in for me.

Lord, what a wondrous God you are. We so often see the immediate crisis, you see how all this fits into your plans. For seajoy and her husband, may you grant them both peace about the trip. We pray, Lord, that seajoy will not experience the anxiety and depression during this time. Comfort her husband so that he can work effectively and not be distracted by these thoughts. May he only have thoughts of joy, peace, unity, harmony, and love. You know their needs, and you provide more abundantly for them.

I just received a call from my Mom. My youngest brother, Keith, is in the hospital with chest pains and an irregular EKG. They suspect he's had a heart attack and will be doing an angiogram on him tomorrow morning. He's only 34 and has 2 young kids. Melissa, the one we prayed for earlier this week, is his wife.

I just received a call from my Mom. My youngest brother, Keith, is in the hospital with chest pains and an irregular EKG. They suspect he's had a heart attack and will be doing an angiogram on him tomorrow morning. He's only 34 and has 2 young kids. Melissa, the one we prayed for earlier this week, is his wife.

I had an angiogram done one me and while doing that they installed two stents by my heart some 2 years ago. I had blockages.
If this happens - cholesterol maintenance is a must!
Medicine regulates it rather effectively. Just need to take it.

I hope and pray everything will go well for Keith and his family.
