Prayer for my uncle

Hi everyone. I was hoping you guys could help me in prayer for my uncle. He has hepatitus (sp?) C and cirrosis of the liver. He contracted it from a needle when he used to work as a nurses assistant. It is progressively getting worse, and just yesterday they found two tumors on his liver. They are not sure exactly what they are yet, they are waiting for test results. But most importantly, please pray for his salvation. He doesn't know Christ, and I am more worried about his future in eternity than anything else. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your Uncle.

The good news is Jesus is able to save to the uttermost. So no matter how far away your Uncle seems to be from the Lord to us, God is at work behind the scenes of his life, with a plan to bring him to know Jesus.

And difficult times are when God can choose to turn up big time in someone's life.

I pray that this will be exactly how it is for your Uncle. Of course God is already with him, but your Uncle needs to be aware of that and see his need of a Saviour.
So in the name of Jesus I pray your Uncle's eyes are opened to the truth. That he sees his need for forgiveness and opens his heart and life to the love that Jesus has and is wanting to give him right now. Jesus is knocking at the door of your Uncle's heart and I pray he will turn to that door and open the handle with the faith God has given him, and let Jesus come right in.
That this condition with his liver will not hinder him coming to faith in Jesus. Rather it will be a steping stone to ask God for help, for healing and ultimatley eternal life. That he questions his purpose here and turns to Jesus for the answer.
Your Uncle I feel is on the threshold of something wonderful happening in his life through the love and power of God. God has called him and He is faithful.
Keep praying. God is going to move in a mighty way.

Thanks so much everyone. Just an update: The spots were found to be cancer. His doctor doesn't offer a whole lot of hope. He is going in for some kind of chemo injection directly into the liver next Thursday. Evidently it is very painful, and 1 out 1000 die from it. They may go to Texas for some kind of chemo? Not too sure where though.
