Prayer for my daughter, Basic Training

Some of you know me, some of you don't. but I would like to ask all who lift up to the Lord, say a prayer for my daughter. She is in Basic Training for the Army right now, and is really struggling. She is doing the single most difficult thing in her life, and is at a point, where she doesn't think she can cut it. I know she can. Her name is Elisabeth.

Sure will- I will be in your same boots in about 2 and half years if my youngest has his way!

I pray for Elisabeth rightnow Lord and I paray taht you will equip her with the strength,courage,and will to make this basic training Lord, I hope that she will find hope in her heart to grasp on to her inner strength and just come out on top with flying colors lord... comfort her in her times of sadness and when she feels like giving up pick her up in your hands an love her and nurture her needs lord... you did it for my marine niece lord, and she is a leutenant corporal!!! amen!! do it for Elisabethe Lord! I know you can.... (my skin is full of goosei bumps as I type this prayer.... )

Praying for your daughter that she would endure the rigors of basic training...Years ago, I went through this, so I know how tough it can be...especially to be homesick and away from home. I had some good "buddies" and we leaned on each other for encouragement. May the Lord give your daughter some good "buddies" too.

Thank you, Del66, I appreciate this! I wanted to bump this up with an update. She is almost halfway through her training, and is plugging along. She is getting stronger, and is dealing with the stresses. She has also asked me to send her a Bible!! Praise God!! For a long time, she wanted nothing to do with the church. This is truly an answer to prayer! Keep praying!!

Thank you for this prayer. I guess you would know!! I know that years ago, women didn't train for combat, but now theyare right up alongside of the men. It is hard for her, but by the grace of God, she is getting through! She was a 20 y/o couch potato!

I finally got to talk to her!!! She sounded really good, just struggling through! It really did my heart good to hear her voice!! She gave me the date for her graduation, too, so now we can make plans!!! Just keep on praying!! I appreciate it!

Heavenly Father, I come to you tonight, asking you to bless my child, and give her a good nights rest. She is halfway through her training, and I ask you to continue your watchcare over her, lead her and guide her through her days. Give her strength and purpose. Help her as she continues along. If she feels an anxiety attack coming, calm her, and soothe her. I can't be with her to help her contain them, so, Lord, I am relying on you, and your goodness, your mercy, and your grace. Thank you Lord, for all you do, I ask these things in your precious holy name, amen.
