Prayer for ideas

I need to request prayer for ideas. I am in charge of a large community outreach event at our church in June, and I need ideas of what to include on flyers, mailings, letters, and basically all the advertising involved. I'm drawing blanks, and having trouble on something that usually is easy for me. I know this sounds silly, but please pray that I will get some ideas, and that people will be able to come to me with their input on things. We want to reach the lost, and have a great attendence for the Lord! Pray that the words, and images on this will be something God can use to reach people and bring them to His church or back to His church from a long absence.

Your request isn't silly at all, Frame. The Bible says:

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. (Proverbs 8:12)

and

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (James !:5)

I pray both of these scriptures for you, Frame. I also pray it for others who would come to you with their own wise ideas, so that you might reach the lost for His glory. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Have you asked around the church to see if you have any PR, advertising or marketing folk willing to work with you on that part of the project? Young people still in college for those degrees might leap at the chance since it would give them a resume' builder while letting them serve the Lord.

I've checked around...We have no marketers or advertising people at our church. Thanks for the ideas, keep praying, as some ideas have come to me today!
