CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The tests did not reveal any reflux. In other words, her kidneys looked good.
They want us to continue treatment as usual in case this was a false reading, but if we get another positive report next year she will officially be considered cured.
This is the best case scenario and we are very pleased!

My mother is having double knee replacement surgery. The first one on March 13th and the second on March 18th. I am especially concerned for her because she is 77 years old and has high blood pressure.

I want to update my earlier prayer request (see p. 50). My daughter has developed another UTI - the first since being diagnosed with reflux almost a year and 1/2 ago. I don't know what this means for her yet and it may be a few weeks before we know anything for sure. We had thought she was in the clear, however this could be an indication that the reflux is still present and surgery is needed.
Also, we spent the weekend with my in-laws. My husband's grandfather has just been moved to a nursing home - it's been a difficult situation for the family.

Pray that I do well on both of my math tests this week I really need to stabilize my grades and all of my other classes and work and lack of sleep are killing me right now.

I am having a lot oftrouble right now...my son is due to get out of jjail, well actually he was sent to ahalf way house. He jas to earn his own ay...and was doing good,until 2weeks ago when he has a stroke. He is a barber, the we believe is a gift from God, only now he can,t do that. He has less the 20 ays and they will move him out of that and if his mhome plan is not intact he wil go to another halfway house. also his son 16 is waiting trial on selling drugs and firearms. they want to try him as an adult.
I need some prayer, please..The devil has been after me long enough. Oh God always make it right..but the waiting is hard. love pony

My husband started a new job a few weeks ago, I just hope everything is going well. It is kind of hard to explain, but he is a contractor working for a third-party company. We're hoping the company he is working at will hire him directly, he is going to apply soon. It would be the same job, same hours, everything, but it is more money.
We've started going to a church I used to attend. I really enjoy it, and hadn't been there in years. I hope he will enjoy it as much as I do. Last night we went to Small Group, and I know he didn't want to go. But he did go with me, had a great time, and he is already talking about going next week.
I've asked how I can get involved to help with youth group, and finding ways to serve. I am really happy about this church.
