Prayer By Pagers

I picked up an article on regular pagers being used as a device to let sick people know that their friends and family are praying for them. Has anyone heard anything about that concept? Apparently you just dial the individual in need's pager and it lets them know that someone just prayed for you!

Interested in hearing what you guys think about that....

Yeh, I heard about that concept. There is a company based in my home town doing round about the same thing. Check out pagerprayer .com. They have a lot of resources on the idea and my church is thinking about signing on with them as they are cheaper than most pager companies and have national coverage. There is also another company doing the same idea but you have to get each individual approved for the pager first. I think that this concept is going to really help individuals in my congregation that are shut-ins and are sometimes hard to reach. Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes!
