Prayer Area

Not sure if this is the right place in the forums to post this but:

Do any of you have a 'Prayer Area' or 'Altar' where you can sit or kneel to pray and reflect or read spiritual works / Bible?

For me, at the moment it is the kitchen table! I have a lovely Crucifix above the table on the wall and i have my bible on that table and a couple of prayer books / spiritual books i am reading.

Current book is "Saint John Paul The Great" by Jason Evert

I do have a room where i can shut myself away but i tend to like this kitchen table! But, having said that, i do tend to pray when i retire to bed on my own with a lovely crucifix next to me.

I do have a prayer closet but would like to assemble a prayer alter.
