Pray

We need prayer! We are commanded to pray!

2Ch 7:14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

1Cr 3:16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We are the temple of God.. The temple is to be a place of prayer!

Luk 19:46Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves

my house IS.. if you are NOT a house of prayer what does that make your house?

1Th 5:17Pray without ceasing.

1Ti 2:1¶I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men;

We are exhorted to pray!

1Ti 2:8¶I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Global rain is an opportunity to come together for prayer, but don't settle for only that,... There is power in prayer, discover it!

Prayer is really the ONLY thing we can do. We don't have the power to heal or forgive or set up kingdoms or take them down. (Although we sometimes think we do!) Prayer keeps us connected and in tune.

For a long time I quit praying, and it was spiritual suicide almost. I felt totally disconnected from everything and everybody, especially God.

It was a learning experience for sure, and now that prayer is becoming an important part of my life again, I can't imagine why I thought I could go through this life alone!
