CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear Father in Heaven, have mercy on us Father. We are your children Lord, draw close to us and protect us from the evil one, whose only desire is to devour us and make a mockery of your plan for our lives. Oh Father, strengthen us, help us Lord to meet the challenges of each day, of each hour. Oh my dear Father, have mercy and forgive us our sins, Father cause us to walk in Your ways. Dear Father heal our broken hearts, lift us up from the pit of depression and bring joy to our hearts once again. Father, make a hedge of protection around us, and deliver us from the hands that would smite us. Fill us with you Holy Spirit, that our word and deed will be a reflection of Your Holy will for our lives. In Jesus Holy and Precious Name I pray. Amen.
