  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I wish I could improve your situation for you,but I have done the same thing. Just not that many times. It takes women alot longer to heal then we men would like to see happen. You first have to regain the trust with her. That will come in time if you are going to couseling to get help. You have to remeber to take baby steps to build back broken relationships. Try to diplay yourself in a positive way and be happy to be with her. It will take alot of understanding and giving in your part. Let her come to you, without pressures or obligations from her part. I will pray for your situation and stand beside you.

Bro... it's horrible, but sometimes we need these "jolts" to make us really realize what will happen and what we will lose if we don't change. Make sure you get medical help... and see your doctor about depression. There's no reason to try to break this on your own. Get support and stick-with the treatment.
