Be assured, T Man, that if what you have to write really is God's will and not your own, that He will be guiding you every bit of 'the way'.
Did He say that you should be bold and write about the message or be timid/cautious and ask for prayer because you doubt that He will be guiding you every step of THE WAY?
2 Timothy 1:17
"for God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power...".
John 14:6
"I am THE WAY,....".
Acts 24:22
"But Felix, having a rather accurate knowledge of THE WAY,...".
There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, it is false...

Be bold, be strong,....if it is HIS will, go on the journey with HIM, proclaim the message that He has told you to spread. If the message is completely HIS WILL and that you should tell others now (instead of be silent and learn from Him until He says otherwise), you need no prayer or anyone's encouragement (HE will be your strength, you must boldly rely on HIM alone).
You see, this statement is VERY notable..."IF what the Lord has shown me is TRUE" (are you READY??).
The Lord has always spoken to people with pure hearts, but very often we retain many bad habits and attitudes of DOUBTING ("IF") and instead of relying completely on His guidance, we ask for support and approval from man with "prayer".
So, if He told you to "write", do not ask for anyone to "approve" or encourage you. As you learn, you will make mistakes ('LEARNING' mistakes) and learn to be stronger, gentler, more understanding, better understood, and more effective.
Think outside the box/bible and do not use the jargon/lingo of the status quo (jargon confines our thoughts to the status quo).
The Lord wants us to understand "PRINCIPLES" (2 sided coin, dichotomy,...right/wrong, truth/untruth, etc.) so that we speak in no uncertain terms...let your YES mean a clear YES and your NO be a clear unmistakeable NO (YES/NO is the PRINCIPLE of TRUTH).
Hebrews 5:12
"you need some one to teach you again the first PRINCIPLES...."....you need MILK, not solid food".
Scripture verses are UNIVERSAL principles for relevant situations (not to always be kept "in context").
Matthew 6:6
"But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door".
Sometimes His messages are PERSONAL and PRIVATE for yourself alone while you learn...
Romans 14:22
"The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God".
He wants us to spread the good news of His death and resurrection that is in the "doctrine of Christ"...
Hebrews 6:1
"Therefore, let us leave the doctrine of Christ..."...and move on ("go ahead") to a MATURE ("more excellent", 1 Corinthians 12:31) devotion because now we don't have only the heavenly Father to worship, we have BOTH the Father and the Son...
2 John 1:9
"Any one who goes ahead and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God; he who abides in the doctrine has both the Father and the Son".
Be sure you understood the correct message to "tell the world".
All verses are from the RSV.
Do not fear or be unsure of yourself in Christ, the devil has no hold on a righteous man.
