Im am struggerling with life at the moment. ive been depressed for a while but im really not doing great at the moment. I am happy inside with my boyfriend and everything, but because of the distance it makes it hard. College aint going so great either and the only things that is good is my smile,which is normally a cover at the moment. Im really unhappy, i wish my boyfriend could just give me a big hug and say everything is going to be allright.

YO Jen! In college and only 17, wow. Keep yer chin up kiddo! At least you have a boyfriend to miss. I'm sure things are freaky right now and you have a lot to worry about but to me it seems you are totaly on the right track, so be proud of where you are at now. Look to your friends or make some so you can keep distracted and not have too much time to worry about things and get depressed. That's what I do when I start to feel yucky and go hang out with my friends watch some movies or play video games or try to get involved in something or another.

I agree with Remny - Praise God for your ability to attend college, the love & friendship you are receiving from your boyfriend even though it may not be exactly what you want. God wants us all to be happy and if we can focus on the good things, the positive things that we have, we WILL receive the blessing of happiness. Find something to do to occupy your mind. Send your boyfriend a card, start a journal of the happy memories you have shared together. Life is great.

I come to you humbly asking for your loving arms to be wrapped around Jen. Let her feel your prescence so that she can take comfort. Lift her spirits dear Lord,for only you are powerful enough to honor her with happiness. Give her the will to think positively and with joy in her heart. My depression has slightly got worse-im now taking it out on my boyfriend a little. Im such a bad person. Im soooo stupid!!!! I say sorry for it n then i go do things again and have a go at him, i blame him for it when im just upset and take it out on him.
He says he forgives me but he surely cant have, he says he loves me-but how can he after what i have done? Im soooo stupid!!! He doesnt deserve me!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you know what Love is? If you look at Jesus and what He did, it is not because of any worthiness but because of goodness and grace. And you are not stupid or worthless. Jesus did not think you worthless when the nail was biting into his flesh. You were bought at a great price. Realize that you are human and will fall short, but that Jesus knew this and chose you anyway. Now if you can see how God above loves you, can you not see how your boyfriend could?

I pray you will be lifted up and now with a certainty that God does love you.
