100 years from now I can say (with almost 100% certainty) that all those posting here on CF will be dead and the truth will be no closer in reach than it is today.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I too beleive that God exists and that Christ will return. However, I lack the hubris to state that I have any idea when it will be. For the better part of the last 2000 years some people have been claiming that Christ's return is imminent and they've all been wrong. What give you certainty that it will be within the next 100 years?

On the contrary. We will know the answer. All who are alive now will know the answer. We need to be prepared for when we find out (hopefully many years from now).

Israel and Europe are certainly the places to be watching if you're interested in End Times prophecy. Many of the events centered around the antichrist and Jesus' return will focus on those areas. Obviously none of us can know the exact day or hour (only God the Father knows for certain) but I don't think it's wrong to keep our eyes open and to pay attention to what's happening. There are definitely some things going on right now that, at least to me, point toward a major global shift and the possibility of some of these events coming to pass.
