CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Praying for Canada and all of the leaders and all of the people of Canada that God mooooves in hearts, minds, and souls, and counteracts what is not pleasing to Him. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen. (((hug)))The Supreme Court decides that faith is now banned from Canada's public spaces

Father, I just watched and listened to the video of this op. It touched my heart and reminded me of Psalms 126:5-6.
It is one thing to see the people of Canada, in need of prayer. It is another thing to hear the tearful voice of one crying out to You for these same people, crying out in some many proper areas of their lives that they truly need strong, effective prayers in. I say a strong "Amen" to the prayer that was recorded on this video. May that prayer resound in Your holy ears over and over, and may You respond with wonderful answers, working Yourself, and drawing Your children to work with You in the answer to this prayer. Canadians have such a great need, this is such a great prayer, and You are such a great God, that I long to see one day the great answers You manifest to these Canadians because of this prayer, and other prayers like it. Father may we remember the spirit of this video prayer and allow it to motivate us to continue to pray for Canada, and for other countries as well, for they suffer from the same sins that these Canadians suffer from as well. The solution is the same. It is You, Oh God. Turning to You in repentance after understanding the gospel plan of Your salvation and abundant life in Jesus. Amen.
