Praise upon praise

I'm trying to cultivate a more grateful heart, so I am here to praise the Lord!

Praise Him for
- a very generous friend who met my need this week
- two generous friends who showered me with blessings
- my not having to wait in line at a restaurant this morning when I went for breakfast
- wi-fi when I needed it
- the delicious breakfast I had and the great jazz music that was playing
- the friendly manager at the restaurant
- beautiful weather and a refreshing walk
- safety on the roads
- my curiosity revived and many questions in my head again
- a lesson learned: that I need to avoid the trap of trying to solve problem after problem (probably stems from perfectionism). Instead, I must live my life in positive, proactive ways and only focus on the problems that *really* actually face me.

Thank you too, Lord, for guarding me with angels and for helping me when my car had problems last week.

- thank you, Father, for introducing me to a single man this week who seemed nice.
- thank you, Lord, that Your Spirit refreshes me.
- thank you, God, for teaching me how to manage myself and my thoughts so that I can be more at peace in this harsh world

"You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you," You say.
"I am your Rock, your fortress and your deliverer; I am your rock, in whom you can take refuge. I am your shield and the horn of your salvation, your stronghold," You say.
"I am creating in you a new spirit," You say.
"Those who hope in me will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint," You say.
