Let's hear from All those folks out there who have beem through troubles...either divorce or separation..who have seen the Lord work in their lives and in those of their spouse and children..Our pastor preached on GOD as the restorator..how HE created..not to be alone but with a helpmate and that he is still on the throne ready and willing to heal and restore marriages and families and homes...IF we will give HIM the opportunity..

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

At one point my hubby and I were as close to divorce as you can get without actually filing papers. Here we are, a few years later, and we're happier today than we've ever been. I know beyond doubt that God healed our marriage...if you knew all the details, it's impossible to imagine anyone being able to move past our situation without divine guidance.
I was just thinking the other night how lucky and blessed I am. My man is a phenomenal husband and father. He does homework with our oldest daughter, he cuddles the little one until she falls asleep, and he quilts with me...lol, yes, that's right ladies, my hubby sits down with me and we quilt together. He just blows my mind...in more ways than one.
I love him so much.

With a lot of prayer and some difficult Christian counlseing sessions, we are finally making progress! We are even starting to date again and have recently began to take extra steps for better communication in our marriage! We still have a long way to go but we are finally making some real progress

Just continue to have faith that God will heal your marriage, and take one day at a time. Just try to be better today than you were yesterday. It's a hard road, but it's worth the effort.

Seriously though, my husband and I have been able to make some great progress in our marriage, through the power of our Lord. I am happiest to share that I've actually lost count of how many days my husband has been free from porn. While he may still stumble from time to time, for the time being, things are going marvelously.

I am so grateful that Christ loves me so much that He allowed my divorce to happen to bring me back to His feet. If it wasn't for Him, I would not get out of bed in the morning - every morning that I get out of bed is worthy of praise! If it wasn't for Christ, I would not be standing. He brought me to a place that I can be open and honest, that I can accept responsibility and share my story. I am no longer afraid of emotion, I am no longer afraid to communicate. He has shown me how much I love my wife and given me the ability and desire to forgive. These are all reasons worthy of praise!
My marriage is not yet restored, but my salvation is secured, which is so much more important! I praise Him for teh simple knowledge that He is working miracles in the lives of so many people - He is restoring marriages even as I type this. Three of my good friends are seeing miracles worked in their lives and the lives of their (ex)spouses - hearts turning from stone to flesh, etc. These are all reasons for praise!
God has brought so many people into my life through this experience, who have taught me, shared with me, praid for me - these are reasons for praise!

Although my wife didn't leave me (PRAISE GOD!!!) I do believe she was within days of doing so... it was like someone had flipped a switch inside of her and she had turned into someone i did not know...

We had an awesome weekend!!! She even said that we broke our record for woopie in a 48 hour period!! LOL... its ok.. we're legal.. lol... best part about it... it was all mutual... and that means ALOT!!!
I hope just the beginning of many many more weekends like that..!!! I figure after about 50 or so weekends like that.. and we should be doing pretty good lol ...!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!! I know a cuple that had to separate for a while b/c of strife in the home..the LORD worked sooo mightily in them during this sep. period. It was like they needed this time for GOD to do some perfect work in them and speak to them so HE could bring them back together better than before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
