It seems as tho there are never any praise reports, so I thought that I would share one.
I dont know how many of you remember any of my previous posts, but I was having a real hard time with direction in my life and my job that I hate and a strong call to children/youth ministry that I feel, no money for tuition for the fall.
Well anyways, Praise God, he has answered mine and so many others that were praying for me.
Last Thursday night i got a call from a friend of mine who works at camp, to tell me that one of the girls, due to medical reasons had to leave and that out of no wheres my name popped into her head, so she gave the director Jeff my name and number and he called me and after having an interview, I got the job!!!! Praise God!!
So if that wasnt good enough, I am the Missions Director at camp, which is like one of the BEST positions to have!! I am not acrtually a counselor, unless they need me for the bigger camps. So I will be staying in the "house" but I sitll have all the couselor duties! So I still do the bonfire and all that camp stuff with them.
So I was worried because I really wanted to take this job, but it would leave me about $1000 short of my tuition for the fall, and I would be comming home to no job, so I talked to my boss, who is usually a real big uhh.... b**ch about it, and praise God, she is going to give me a leave of absence for the summer!! So I have my job back when I get home (now you see I have an unusually high paying job for a student) and plus I still have 2 more weeks vacation and a pay so she is still going to give me the 2 weeks paid vacation while I am at camp. AND I still have 2 more pays from my current job, one this Friday, one from this week and last (we get paid 2 weeks behind) plus one from my vacation, so I will still be getting paid from this job for 6 weeks while I am at camp working making money. PLUS (God is so good) I still have a commissions check AND my quarterly bonues from Jan-May. that I get in July.
Sooooooo with all of this AND what I will be making at camp, AND what I already have saved, it will allow me to go back to University this fall debt free!!! YAHOOOO!!!
Wow, I hope you guys can understand what I said!! I know its a mouthful, but wow!! This is amazing!! God is so faithful!\
So I wanted to say Gave a good summer and that I will miss yoiu all very much. And be sure to watch for my posts when I get home in the fall!
If you could keep and the camp in your prayers this summer it wouldbe great as well!!

I hope you have a fantastic time at camp and that God will use you to touch many lives this summer. And we will look forward to your return in the fall.
I am only going into Grade 10 and yet I know the worries about University Tuition...My faith in God is just brand new (been walking with God for 2 weeks on Wednesday) so I am finding it difficult to turn to him but I have a wonderful church family who has welcomed me as if I had been a good friend all along and returned from a trip...my only advice is: Keep Strong in the Lord and always trust him! I will be leaving for camp on my birthday so enjoy your time at camp.
