I gave you one yesterday Old. . .was Jesus' positive words of confession not good enough?Old_100th said:Lil Angel Heart,
I have also asked you to provide Biblical support regarding you view of Positive Confession, which you have yet to do.

Old_100th said:God created logic, therefore to violate it would be against his holy nature. Can you think of anywhere in the Bible where we are told that God can do anything? Please tell me if you can.
I find it hard to believe that you have read the NT and haven't learned instruction on conversation. Now why do you suppose there is so much mention of it? I also liked the way you dodged the question I asked you about what would have happened to my son! You say not to go there. I say go there as it is a prime example of speaking the word against the enemy. Had my son NOT used the word he would've been harmed! He used the word and the enemy left. You refuse to admit the possibilities that could have happened but didn't because there is power in the name of Jesus! So speak it and learnOld_100th said:Lil Angel Heart,

I didn't dodge anything. I chose not to address a personal experience because if an experience doesn't line up with objective truth then it is based upon falsehood. Therefore discussion of objective reality is more relevent. If you want to share personal experiences then perhaps a Testimony forum would be better.Follower of Christ too said:I find it hard to believe that you have read the NT and haven't learned instruction on conversation. I did not say He would violate it. But our logic is not HIS logic. Therefore, unless our logic is conformed to His . . .our's is worthless.Old_100th said:Quaffer:
"So much for God having to do things according to our logic ey!"
I think that you might want to explain what the texts you have cited mean as opposed to just citing them. I read them and can't see how they support your view. Proof-texting is cheap, let's do some exegesis.
Also, as I said God created logic. It is therefore silly to say that he would violate it.

And if you don't understand what Jesus meant when He said "nothing is impossible with God". . .well. . .I don't know that I could explain it any better. I think He said it pretty clearly.
Actually Old, you seem to be out more for an argument than you are actual logic. We've given you logic along with scriptural proof but you refuse to accept it, opting instead to twist our words into things not being said and slinging insults. Due to that. . .the thread now has to be closed.Old_100th said:Ah, I get it. God is so beyond us that we can't expect him to make any sense. Logic is not universal, God has his own brand. This mindset is sorry.
I understand what Christ is saying, but I'm not sure what you're trying to prove by citing this verse. Could you enlighten me? Ah, there I go being logical again!
