  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When I try to backtrack in posts, it won't let me even go to the previous page. I can go to the next pages, but if I'm on say page 714 and I want to go to 713, it won't let me.
It also will not allow me to quote people. It always comes up with a "parse error"? The only way for me to post is through quick reply. Is there a way to fix this?

when you say "it won't let me" see the previous pages, does it show the parse error there too, or does it just show a blank white page, or what? If it's the blank page it's probably something to do with your browser cache. Clear the cache (you may have to check your browser's website to figure out how if you don't know; it's different for different browsers) and tell us what you see.
