CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have got Labyrinth on DVD. Not sure how it would stand up without David Bowie. He really made the film work. And Jennifer Connelly was perfectly cast.

i got one of my children the labyrinth for his birthday, because his nana said it was his favorite movie...
he looked so disappointed, and he didn't want me to play it for 3 months... i found out that the scene where the trolls take the baby away scared him! he thought that if any of his brothers, sisters, or me or dad said "we don't want you here," or "i wish you would go away, " or something like that, then he would be stuck w/a bunch of trolls for the rest of his life!!!!
once we got that clear that i would never let him leave my house, and no one would ever say that, then he likes the movie... but that was hard, trying to find out exactly what was wrong....
