C-Man - Nice Windows xp theme. Once I themed my xp to look like WIndows 7. Had to replace a certain file first, with a patched version. So that I could apply other themes to xp. I should have taken a screen shot, don't have that install anymore.

How does one go about adding picture of desktop? I cannot Copy & Paste so is there a way of adding image? I clicked insert Image and received a error message. Thank you for any help.

The desktop is just a picture file. You locate the picture file, upload it to PhotoBucket, and then post the link. So the first thing to do is to locate the picture file. What operating system are you on?

Click it a couple of times and see if it opens to your computers picture file. (Is there an UPLOAD tab visible after you log on? If so click that and then click an open file or browse file button. It may take a second but it should open.

Do you have a pop-up blocker or an Ad blocker installed that might stop a new window from opening after you've logged in?

When you login to Photobucket there are two places you can click to upload a picture:

Instead of trying to Browse, can you drag/drop to the upload rectangle? (Maybe Win8 is getting in your way - I'm allergic to W8 so I can't help there.)

Yes, I had a box with Browse or Drag /Drop. Was not able to Browse, but I did drag/drop. It was strange, when I placed the photo in the box I received a video commercial and when it ended my JPEG file appeared blank but it still showed the photo name as being correct. Was unable to do anything with it. I then went to FB and tried to bring photos over from there. That was a joke also but a few photos from FB came into the box. It didn't appear that was going to work so well either so I shut down. I will try again later. Photobucket is basically treating my desktop computer like it is a Mobile Phone. It has to be a W* issue.

I did something STUPID I shouldn't have done. I installed phohobucket backup photos. It took all my photos from My Picture fie, but still could not add them to the photobucket library. It was like they were in their own cloud. Next, I said time to clean this mess so I uninstalled photo backup. I use to use photobucket a lot a few years ago, but everything seems different now. I had to create a new account because my old account had a different email addy and I threw my password and User away. Maybe I just won't be able to use it. I do also have an account with Image Shack. Do you think this would work?

I know nothing about Image Shack, but I suspect that any service that allows you to share photos by exposing their links to the outside world would work. In fact, you can even store a photo in a CF album and post it from there. My guess is that you're fighting with Windows 8, but it may also be a browser issue. If you do everything right and try a different browser (like Chrome), does it work?
