In the upper right of the website, click the "User" CP link, then on the left, select the "Pictures & Albums" link. If there isn't a default album, use the "Add an album" link to create one. Then use the "Upload Pictures" link to select the pictures you want to place in the album.

Go back to the album and click the picture so it displays on the screen. Right click on the picture and select "copy link location" or similar.
Then create a new post and click the little yellow icon of a mountain (insert image) and paste the link in there. When you click OK the image will appear in the post.

It's me! Who else could it be...
Here's my desktop from my own custom built Debian Sid install. Features XFCE 4.10 and a truckload of free software - total cost $0 (apart from actual hardware and a bit of my time). Only things I have added which Debian doesn't offer is Firefox and Thunderbird - Debian offers these as rebranded offering called Iceweasel and Icedove. Application shown is called ncmpcpp which is a front end to the mpd music server. Just completed the build today and have just upgraded my old hard drives and is now configured as a 2TB mirrored RAID array with Debian residing on a 120GB SSD.

Funny, I click on the little yellow mountain and box appears saying 403 Error. Cannot get Paste option.

What is the problem I am having trying to post desktop? Am I not able to do this with W8? I just keep getting Error 403.

It'd be better to host your picture someplace like Photobucket, then copy and paste the image tags (they look like this:

Yes I tried that also, but Photobucket will not allow me to browse my files. Looks like this is not going to happen. Thank you for your help. Just going to let it go.

Have you tried using a different web browser? Sometimes certain programs don't function well with certain websites. If you're using Internet Explorer, perhaps try Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, they're both exceptional browsers.

I've only been using IE since I purchased this W8 PC. You think that maybe I was to install say Chrome or Mazilla I may be able to post images on here? CF website will allow one Browser and not another? If you think it is worth a try than let me know I will give it a go.

Firefox and Chrome are generally considered superior to IE regardless, and they generally have greater compatibility with different websites. I would definitely recommend either one of them.
