I think this is a very friendly song. Originally recorded on the Bare Trees album with Fleetwood Mac, Bob Welch released a solo recording of it after he left the band and had a moderate hit with it.

I bought his album back in 1970 for "Jean" and it had "Good morning Starshine" on it; I like both.
