They're my grandfathers. He has always raised Ostriches, he used to sell them 30ish+ years ago to other farmers and I think the zoo when they were worth a lot but now he just raises them because he likes them. They're fully grown now and most of these ones lived through to maturity which was nice.

Nice paintingA painting I did for my mother - it's her favourite bear, reminds her of her late father apparently:

I live in Australia so their only predators are hawks & foxes when they're young. Maybe dingos too if you live in a place with them present. They eat well on the farm and eat seed every now and then but most of the time they're out there grazing and eating what grows on the ground. They can get pretty cranky sometimes and are dangerous when they're laying & roosting, but when these ones were being raised my cousin used to go in and play with them so they're actually very well mannered for Ostriches. That's why my brother in the video could grab it's beak without it getting annoyed & hissing at him.
It kind of reminds me of the Garden of Eden and that animals are made to be friendly with man, that even though they're dangerous now there exists something still in them which allows them to interact & dwell in peace with us.
I wish you the best with the livestock as it can be a lot of work!
Edit: Just found this video of them displaying their temperament
That is absolutely wonderful.A painting I did for my mother - it's her favourite bear, reminds her of her late father apparently:

Amazing! That's gotta be breathtaking up close and in person. Some silo art on our way through Dunedoo last Christmas. Coincidentally like the name suggests, it's a good place to stop and use the dunny.

Yeah they are pretty cool to look at but to be honest it was more wondering about how much of a pain it would be to re-paint when our summer makes it inevitably fade in 5 years haha.Amazing! That's gotta be breathtaking up close and in person.

I agree, though they must have been pretty tall in order to reach the top. Maybe the Nephilim are still with us after allThose are cool. I like the ones with the sheepIt's really impressive that someone was able to paint something so large in scale.
