No one world religion - no one world government. Islam is the two horned beast and religion and the Mid East Arab world is the region he will control.

Most of the world will follow him so that points to one worldism. And as I stated even some proclaiming to be Christians (Foolish Virgins, apostasy that's coming, etc) That's why Christ turns some away in the end.

The key is most of the world will be saying "peace and safety" when the true Christ returns. That's the mindset and that's the true deception. I honestly don't believe people will be saying peace and safety if they don't believe the Messiah has returned.

Globalism isn't prophesied anywhere.

I believe this would count, although apparently you don't believe it.

Revelation 13:8 "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

but Rome or the EU are NOT mentioned in even ONE verse of end-time prophecy.

I never mentioned anything about Rome and EU. That's not what it's going to be about.

I welcome any body to quote one!

I've already posted scriptures about my beliefs (which have nothing to do with Rome or EU ) I'm a scripture person first and foremost which is where I base my beliefs.

But I would like to see some scriptures from you since you haven't posted any.

The fact is Satan (with help of his angels) will be here proclaiming to be God and he will be so convincing in this role that even the elect would have a hard time not believing. It's that serious, that convincing that both Christ and Paul give out serious warnings on this subject. He will perform signs and wonders and it's his trickery (wiles) that one has to be prepared for to be able to stand in that evil day if it should happen in one's generation. Paul even states he's disguised as an angel of light. You don't have to don a disguise unless eyes are on you. The gospel armor is for the wiles of the devil, not some human from the Middle East. So many people miss the fact that the gospel armor is for "the evil day" They think it means every day. It's a second witness to Christ stating that those that endure to the end, the same shall be saved. Paul states that we need it to be able to withstand in the evil day, having done all, to stand. Same thing.

It's Satan that will be locked up in the pit so he can't deceive the nations anymore.

Revelation 20:3 "And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."

And it's him that's released to deceive one last time. It's him.


Revelation 20:7 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison

Revelation 20:8 "And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."

It was prophesized long ago that he would sit on the throne to the sides of the north proclaiming to be God. And Paul backs up that.



But at that point take out religion (including Islam) denomination, etc. The point is he will be here instead of Christ. If someone states- here is Christ or there is Christ, believe it not. Those are Christ's own words. The world will wonder after him, so much so that they will be saying peace and safety and then the true Christ returns and watch out because people will be praying for the mountains to fall on them.

We can take those warnings seriously or not. I choose to take them seriously if it should happen in my lifetime.

And yes, I do take many words back to the Hebrew/Greek quite often because many can get lost in translation because even one word in the English when taken back can be different words when utilized in different verses. But taking those words back doesn't take away Satan's role that he will play in the future. And it's clearly not limited to just one region that he will control.

And still no scripture break down from you on your beliefs?

Hi tansy. I don't post too much anymore either. And I'm sorry to read of your loss.

Anyway, what I was wondering is that I have read over the years some kind of prophecies which say that this Pope will be the final one. What do people think...also what would happen if he really IS the final one?

I also remember hearing of this over the years, but never was really into it. I really only began researching it since the time of your OP, and since the time of the Pope's illness. It's like being on the edge of our seats.

I'm reading Pope Francis was aware of the St. Malachi prophecy, and had asked during an earlier speech to "pray for me."

I'm also cautious with this as it may not be a Biblical prophecy which comes from God. Jesus also seemed to acknowledge other knowledge which may come from the dark side in Luke 16:8:

"And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.​

And for other reasons I hesitate to go into now, I think Jesus is coming soon. So I think things are happening now, events not generally recognized for what they are. This might be just another straw in the camel's back.

I do not think our current Pope is the end time Antichrist, or the False Prophet of Revelation. That is a complicated subject for another thread. Our current Pope is not fulfilling the same Biblical role that the office of the Vatican did during the middle ages.

I have a hunch Pope Francis is waiting at the edge of his seat, like we are, to see what's going to happen next.
