If it is clear to you then you are either being dishonest with yourself or you have no ability to see multiple meanings in vague ancient writings.
So god predisposes people of intelligence to damnation, that sure makes it easy for you to dismiss actual science and logic that dispel the idea of a god.
Well here you go. Just a few, but the point is made.
That is not possible, try taking any text from a few hundred years ago let alone millenia and try to interpret what is being said and this would be a text in English. Language is fluid and is constantly changing with words being dropped and new ones being added and often contexts changes in groupings of words. So then interpret this aforementioned manuscript into modern English, it cannot be 100% accurate. Now take a language that essentially does not exist anymore such as ancient Hebrew and you see the conundrum. There's another possibility. That is that you are wrong.
No point is made at all!
Look back at the question you asked me, and then try to convince yourself "a point was made."
The only point that was made was that you do not believe in the grace and mercy of Christ.

I do indeed. But only for believers in Him. Just as the Bible says. I didn't realize that angelicans had adopted the principle of universal salvation. Learn something new every day it seems.
You make it somewhat difficult to keep track when you quote me, but you're remarks are addressed to someone else.Do try to keep up please. We were talking about Chalice. It wasn't random, you just apparently lost track.
No - by your very post to me, you leave NO ROOM for the grace and mercy of Christ in a person who might at one time have denied him, and thenbeen moved to belief.
Dangerous ground upon which to build your house of cards.
I answered your question honestly - and you replied with the answer of a Pharisee. And we all know what esteem the Pharisees hold in the eyes of the Savior.

If you quote me, do try to direct your remarks to what I said. Let's be sensible, shall we?
The question is was Christ gracious and merciful towards those who knew the truth and then denied it?
You might have gotten away with that lie in an age before electronics.
The exact question YOU POSED, was:
But tell me this, what is the result of a personal decision to deny Jesus Christ?
I answered it truthfully, and you went on the attack - thinking you had laid a clever snare for me. (Total Pharisee behavior)
ETA: And I have had it debating with dishonest people such as yourself!
They were two SEPARATE questions. That's why I said "The question is..." not "The question was..."
I worded it purposefully that way to ensure there was no confusion between the two. Silly me.
Silly you indeed - since I assumed you were referring to our conversation...HAVING QUOTED IT AND ALL!!!
You should read more carefully instead of assuming that the "sound byte" tells the whole story is all I can think to tell you.
Honey, it's all there in black and white.
Don't try to wiggle out.
Oh, but he's very good at that. I've called him on it as well.Honey, it's all there in black and white.

You're the one who was wrong, not me. As far as I'm concerned it was a non-issue. You're the one bringing it up again.
