You are telling someone not to be who they are to the very fiber of their being you tell him that he chooses to be who he is which is most certainly not the case.

No I'm telling him to be truthful about what the scriptures say. Just like I've time and again told gays to be truthful about what it says. You don't have to like it, or agree with it, but be honest enough to acknowledge what it says. That's my contention.

To answer the question God has given the proof it's up to you to look at it with an open mind. When I finally did it became impossible to deny.

You assume that because someone is not Christian that they do not have an open mind, that is a very closed minded thing to assume.

The idea of some omnipotent being is illogical the fact that evolution is a fact and that we have dormant DNA from our predecessors makes it even more illogical and the fact that the greatest open minds of all time find it ludicrous should speak volumes, but I guess the likes of Einstein being an atheist means nothing to you.

True, but if the church itself were cast into darkness for centuries, wouldn't that be overcoming it?

How much was lost in that darkness? How do you know they aren't correct?
