Pope Francis has met with Zelenskyy twice: once in 2020, before the Russian invasion, and again on May 13, more than a year after the February 2022 invasion.

Pope Francis spoke by telephone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy three days after Christmas to discuss peace efforts to end the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war, according to a video message Zelenskyy posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“We discussed our joint work on the Peace Formula,” Zelenskyy said. “More than 80 states are already involved at the level of their representatives. There will be more. I am grateful to the Vatican for supporting our work.”

Zelenskyy said the pontiff expressed “his wishes of peace — just peace for all of us” during the Dec. 28 phone call.

The Ukrainian president also said he expressed gratitude to the Pope “for his Christmas greetings to Ukraine and Ukrainians.”

On Christmas, Pope Francis delivered a Christmas blessing in which he said: “Saying ‘yes’ to the Prince of Peace means saying ‘no’ to war, and this with courage: saying no to every war, to the very mindset of war, an aimless voyage, a defeat without victors, madness without excuses.”

When speaking about Ukraine, the Pope called for people to “renew our spiritual and human closeness to its embattled people, so that through the support of each of us, they may feel the concrete reality of God’s love.”

Today I learned from the news that the Parliament of Ukraine wants to pass a law ( Draft Law No. 10449) that will allow them to catch (steal people) males on the streets (for now only males) from 18 to 60 years old, who have never anything to do with the army, and keep them in a closed space until they agree to become soldiers (essentially torture). Do they want to make a huge Guantanama out of Ukraine?

And they also want to take away all the property from such men. They want to take away cars, bank accounts and even housing.

If Christians have any influence on politics, do not allow the Ukrainian authorities to pass such a law. The Bible says, “You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.” Don't let them make Ukrainians slaves, please!

If we summarize all the speeches of our president from 2022 to the present day, he said:
1) the war will go on until the last Ukrainian;
2) Ukrainians are prohibited from becoming refugees; they will try to return all refugees to Ukraine ( So far, this applies only to men from 18 to 60);
3) those in Ukraine will not be given the right to travel outside Ukraine;
4) Ukrainians are prohibited from resolving issues of war and peace - all this will be decided by the authorities;
5) all Ukrainians will fight;
6) there will be no more presidential elections (until the end of the war, and the war until the last Ukrainian);
7) there will be no more parliamentary elections (for the same reasons).

Save us from this submarine!!!

We used to be free people. If today politicians make us slaves, then tomorrow they can make you slaves under the pretext of fighting with someone or something. By saving us today, you save yourself tomorrow!!!
