With the Nolan chart, I scored as a Conservative, but I didn't agree with a lot of the choices they gave. I just picked the ones I disagreed with the least.

I did the political compass one last night and scored in the green, just like everybody else.

That test also seemed like it was tailored so that most people would end up in the green region, as was mentioned. I mean what do have to do to land yourself on the authoritarian side of the axis, say that you think the state should be involved with what goes on in a couples' bedroom? Although I suppose there were a few foreign policy questions that could also put you in the authoritarian region.
